CHOICES, a group that combines analog and digital aspects of music making, is the latest project of Juno-winning trombonist and composer William Carn. He is a faculty member at the University of Toronto Jazz Studies program who has performed and taught internationally. He calls CHOICES a “project of reflection.” It began in 2020 during the pandemic as a recording that was created remotely by William and five other jazz musicians in Toronto, including members of the ensemble Turboprop.
