This unique concert could be labelled as orchestral jazz. Magpie is a suite of compositions by Sarah Jerrom, inspired while she was a resident at the Banff Centre for the Arts in 2018 and released as a recording in April this year. Sarah is a vocalist, pianist, band leader and teacher who released three albums between 2007 and 2021. This, her most ambitious project, will feature four singers including Sarah herself, and an ensemble full of musicians who could each draw their own rapt audiences.
