Singer and pianist Kari van der Kloot is an original – a Canadian by birth and a world citizen by career. Following her musical education in Toronto and New York, she became a professor of vocal jazz in Seoul, South Korea. Now back in New York, she delivers unique performances with the Kari van der Kloot Quintet including intricately arranged ensemble playing, four-part vocal harmonies and intimate dialogues between voice and violin. Her new album, her third, is called Window.
