Russia’s Dobranotch performs its own irreverent brand of Jewish, Gypsy and Balkan traditional music, drawing on deep knowledge of traditions, rich experience in traveling and interacting with traditional musicians from different countries. The band’s repertoire also includes Russian songs of the golden age of brass bands. Featuring many of the leading players in Russia’s post-Soviet Jewish music renaissance, the band has toured more than twenty countries and recorded seven albums. Co-presented with the Ashkenaz Festival.
