Jackie Richardson is an award-winning singer and actor whose career spans more than five decades. Canada’s reigning queen of jazz, blues and gospel has earned kudos ranging from two JUNO nominations to the Black Theatre Workshop’s Martin Luther King Jr. Award to a Lifetime Achievement Award from Canadian Actor’s Equity, among many. This year, she adds Order of Canada Member.
