Craft and Food Vendors: Are you interested in participating in the 12th Annual Markham Jazz Festival?

The Markham Jazz Festival, held annually on the third weekend in August, will be celebrating its 12th anniversary this year on August 14-16.

We will have over 20 performances throughout the weekend at the Millenium Bandstand and Varley Art Gallery on Main Street Unionville and there will be 2 stages on Main Street Markham on Sunday, August 16th.

We are closing a small portion of the road on the North side of Carlton between Carlton & Library Lane that joins the Varley Art Gallery with the parkette across the street. We have vendor opportunities on the street in that parkette area. We also have vendor opportunities on Main Street Markham on Sunday.

Our attendance includes over 58% who live in York Region, 44% of those from the Markham area. Thousands of people attend this 3 day festival each year and has become a “must attend” York Region event.

Directions: From Highway 401:
* Take Hwy. 404 north
* Hwy. 404 North, take Hwy. 7 east
(approx 4 km)
* Hwy. 7 East, turn left at Main St. Unionville
(3 lights east of Warden Ave)
* Main St. Unionville North. Gallery is located several blocks north at the intersection of Main St. and Carlton Rd. (approx 1 km) at the top of the village. There will be designated parking for vendors.

10:00 am Vendors can set up booths
1:30-7:00 pm Official Jazz Festival hours on Saturday, August 15 (tear down by 8:00 pm)
1:30-5:00 pm Official Jazz Festival hours on Sunday, August 16 (tear down by 7:00 pm)

* Tents CANNOT be left up overnight on Saturday, August 15 as the street will open up after 8:00 pm and there is no security at the parkette.
